Personal experience has shaped my view that every women should be equipped to approach her labor confident in her body’s ability to birth.  My work as a doula supports each family in their particular needs and desires; taking into account your personality, past experiences, and expectations of your upcoming birth.

My heartbeat is to discover how I can come alongside and encourage the strength I see given to women for this good work. I believe that children are a huge gift; one that stretches our capacities and helps us discover a love like none other.

When I’m not reading, drinking coffee, or looking for a child's missing shoe, I’m homeschooling my ten kiddos and loving the adventure of life with my husband Nathan, in the Raleigh, NC area.
